Day 1: Quito–Otavalo - Cuicocha - Harvest technicals Magdalena- Karanki Community
2 hours from Quito The Otavalo Craft Market is the most famous and picturesque in South America. Markets are meeting places for shopping, bargaining and chatter while people of the region exchange local produce, utensils, pots, and pans or textiles.
Cuicocha Lagoon - Its name comes from the Kichwa Indigenous language means "Lake Cuy" name because the guinea pig shape of the largest island in the middle of the lagoon.
Through a marvelous Andean setting we head into the indigenous community of Magdalena. The scene displays a wide array of crops which resemble a colorful patchwork on the eastern foothills of Imbabura volcano. The skillful people are known to produce outstanding embroidery.

Day 2: Magdalena - Train Ride–Salinas - Ibarra city tour - Harvesting Techniques - Karanki - Magdalena Community 
The 26-km stretch takes 2 hours to complete, as you plunge from 2200 m. to 1500 m. above sea level. Salinas afro-Ecuadorian community, sponsored by Kleintours in an effort to boost tourism in support of this fascinating area, with a vision of helping it become an important tourist destination. Ibarra panoramic view, taste a typical sherbet - helado de paila.
Community members demonstrate local planting techniques, including the materials and animals used to farm a variety of products including potatoes, quinoa, lupin, corn, beans, wheat and other vegetables depending on their harvesting seasons.
Included ticket train, lunch in Salinas, dinner, and accommodation at Karanki Magdalena community.

Day 3: Peguche-Condor Park – Quito
Peguche Village famous for the textiles produced on traditional looms and it's handcrafted wind instruments where you can purchase their goods directly from the people who make them.  Visit Condor Park; rescue center for a variety of birds of prey.  Return to Quito.
