Historical Center Cultural Heritage - colonial facades on churches and private residences decorated and balconies built during the last five centuries.  Gothic Basilica of the Heart of Jesus, Independence Square flanked by the Presidential and the Archbishop’s palaces and the Metropolitan Cathedral.
